Pistols

Tokarev TT-33

TT-33 pistols are service sidearms of Soviet officers. Capt. Pavel Alyokhin (Yevgeny Mironov), Sr. Lt. Evgeniy Tamantsev (Vladislav Galkin) and Lt. Andrey Blinov (Yuri Kolokolnikov) use their TT-33s in action. In the climactic scene Tamantsev dual-wields a TT-33 and a Nagant M1895 revolver (in the original novel Tamantsev is armed with two Nagants). The trio of German spies in Soviet uniform - Mishchenko (Aleksandr Baluev) alias Capt. Yelatomtsev, Sergey alias Lt. Vasin (Aleksandr Efimov) and unnamed one alias Sr.Lt. Chubarov (Yuriy Pristrom) - also use TT-33 pistols (in the original novel their sidearms are described as "Browning Long 07, similar in shape and size with TT" - no doubt it means FN Model 1903, "07" is a reference to Swedish version Husqvarna 1907). Many other Generals and officers (Gen. Lt. Yegorov (Aleksey Petrenko), Lt. Col. Polyakov (Aleksandr Feklistov) and others) carry TT holsters but they look flat and empty.
