Face of the Frog

Face of the Frog is a 1959 Danish-German movie directed by Harald Reinl. All of London trembles in front of a gang whose boss is disguised as a toad. Inspector Elk and Scotland Yard always see only the frog legs from the robbers. Only hobby detective Richard Gordon clings to the costumed criminal's heels.
This is the first entry of the German adaptation series (1959 - 1972) of the novels of Edgar Wallace.

MAS 1892 Revolver
Various characters are seen with French Mle 1892 Revolvers with custom shortened barrels without the front sights.
CZ 27
CZ 27 pistols are used by Scotland Yard and the Frog's henchmen. Other notable characters are Richard Gordon (Joachim Fuchsberger), James, the butler (Eddi Arent) and Joshua Broad (Dieter Eppler).
FN Model 1922
After the struggle in the pub, the CZ pistol of Lew switches to an FN Model 1922.
Submachine Guns
Suomi KP/-31
A Police officer is seen carrying a submachine gun that looks a lot like a Suomi KP/-31 before the raid on the harbor hiding place.
Unidentified SMG
Another police officer uses an unidentified submachine gun that resembles a French Gevarm Type D4 but has an additional barrel shroud.
Madsen M50
The main villain uses a Madsen M50 at the end of the movie.
