I inherited a gun collection from my father. In it was a Dutch Beaumont that he'd got at a gun show labeled, "unknown sporterized military rifle." It took me a while to research it and figure out what it was and I found I liked doing so. Since then my interest has been pre-1900 European revolvers, early semi-auto pistols and military from 1865 to 1898 give or take.
