Maynard Single Shot Percussion Carbine- .50 cal.

Maynard Single Shot Percussion Carbine was manufactured by the Massachusetts Arms Company of Chicopee Falls Mass. Made between 1860 and 1865.

This Carbine was a favorite among Union Troops in the American Civil War due to its superb accuracy and easy handling. After the Civil War, Dr. Maynard kept his company going by entering the Sporting & Hunting market. In all, Maynard made a total of 16 different models of this uniquely designed firearm. The 1882 Maynard is offered by L.Romano Rifle Co. in four calibers. This firearm was widely known for it's supreme quality, reliability and accuracy.
