The R Document (Dokument R ; Russian: Документ Р) is a 1985 Soviet feature film, loosely based on the eponymous novel by Irving Wallace. The film is set at the start of the 21st century, when politicians and the elite of the United States, headed by the director of the FBI, prepares to assassinate the US president to introduce a state of emergency and seize power by establishing a dictatorship.
