Handguns
Beretta 93R
Jacques Mesrine (Vincent Cassel) is shown using a Beretta 93R machine pistol during the casino robbery. This is a fantastic pistol, so I'm showing a lot of photos of the muzzle blasts.
That is definitely a M1911 on the left - SmithandWesson36
M1911
As with the last movie, Mesrine's pistol of choice is the M1911. In this scene he fires his pistol right in front of his accomplices ear, temporarily deafening him. The scene is shot with high speed film and allows us to see the pistol up close and in action.
Browning Hi-Power
Mesrine later acquires a Browning Hi-Power, that he will use for the Deauville casino heist and to threaten Daniel, a french farmer.
These last two are undoubtly Hi-Powers, man BeardedHoplite 01:06, 4 September 2010 (UTC) Thanks, always get confused between them - though I see the base of the handle is the giveaway.
Luger P08
Just before his condamnation at the Compiègne courthouse, Mesrine asks to go to the toilet. A Luger P08 is hidden in the toilet flush, and Mesrine will use it to escape the courthouse.
MAS / MAC mle. 1950 pistol
MAC Mle 1950 pistols are used by French Gendarmes to shoot at a car with Mesrine inside.
Manuhrin MR-73
A three inch barreled Manuhrin MR-73 "Defense" with fixed or duty sights is seen used akimbo with an anachronistic Beretta 92FS by a policeman when spying Mesrine before killing him. An original Beretta 92 would have been correct.
Beretta 92FS
An anachronistic Beretta 92FS is used akimbo with a Manuhrin MR-73 "Defense" by an undercover policeman.
Submachine gun
MAT-49
When escaping the Prison de la Santé (litteraly Prison of the Good Health), a random convict escapes with them, and takes a MAT-49 submachine gun from prison guard. It is also seen in the hands of a policeman when blocking the road in order to find Mesrine.
IMI Uzi
During the Deauville casino shootout, Mesrine draws a IMI Uzi submachine gun after running out of ammunition for his pistols.
Rifle
AKMS
AKMS's are used in two different scenes, one time by François Besse during the Deauville casino shootout, and one time by Charlie Bauer against Jacques Dallier. This weapon is distinguished by its slanted muzzle brake, front sight, and bulged handguard.
AKS
Jacques Mesrine (Vincent Cassel) is briefly seen with an AKS in one scene while he gets into a car. It appears to not be the same used by Charlie Bauer, mostly because of a continuity error.
Ruger Mini-14
Ruger Mini-14 rifles can be seen on the hands of the policemen when assassinating Mesrine.
MAS-36
During the manhunt on Mesrine, the French Army soldiers are armed with MAS-36 rifles, the FAMAS only being a prototype and still in testing at the time.
Remington Model 700
When waiting the money after kidnapping Lefebvre, Mesrine shoots a unmarked police car, in order to "test their windshield".
Other weapon
Russian F1 hand grenade
Just like the real Mesrine when he was assassinated, he was carrying a bag full of guns and F1 hand grenades on the floor of his BMW.
