Rank

I didn't know if there's a style manual for things like rank, so I replaces all instances of "Sgt" with the era-specific abbreviation for the US Master Sergeant rank (M/Sgt). Also, while the initial author was pretty thorough, I had to tweak the verb tenses and remove redundant "both two" in some areas that might be an artifact of someone who writes English as a second language. That stuff can be tricky to get right if you're used to something like the German form of verb conjugation.

LRDG

At the end, the Long Range Desert Group patrol has two Vickers Ks, either in a twin mount or two side by side on their Jeep. Their Chevy has two M1919A4s on pintles. --Maxman (talk) 21:06, 7 December 2016 (EST)

Beretta M1934??

Is it me or is the screencap in no way the Beretta it is claimed to be. Totally different slide profile, barrel doesn't extend past the slide, sights are different, etc. etc. What IS it though?

Yeah, that's not a Beretta don't know how they missed the lack of an open slide and that small bore. Looks like a Lorcin L22 to me. Black Irish Paddy (talk) 00:23, 26 May 2018 (EDT)

Apparently Beretta, Walther, Mauser or any other compact pistol of WWII were unavailable at the time, thus the usage of this (quite poor) stand-in. MaranaInfirmux (talk) 05:47, 2 October 2019 (EDT)

Fiat G.59 armament

As far as I know, Fiat G.59, unlike its wartime predecessor G.55, was armed with 20mm Hispano machine cannons, or 12.7 mm Breda-SAFAT on two-seat version. G.59 that appeared in U-571 is definitely four-gun (thanks to our colleagues from IMPDB). Not necessary same plane but who knows... In any case, I think that Hispano would be more correct than MG 151/20. --Greg-Z (talk) 13:49, 2 October 2019 (EDT)
