Mafia III is an open-world action-adventure video game, and a sequel to Mafia II. It is developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games, and was released in October 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The following firearms make an appearance in the video game Mafia III:

Handguns

Colt M1911A1

The Colt M1911A1 is one of many available handguns in Mafia 3, known as the "Masterson Pistol". There are two silenced variants in-game, the first being the "Silenced Masterson" which is given as a favor from Vito Scaletta during his first district takeover. The second is "Silentium", which is the same stat wise as the normal silenced M1911 but with fancy engraving that comes with the "Judge, Jury and Executioner" weapon pack DLC. No matter what pistol Lincoln is carrying, during cut scenes he will be seen with the 1911.

Shotguns

All shotguns, when hip-fired, play a pump racking sound after each shot, even including the lever action 1887, break action Lupara and the semi auto 1100.

Remington 870

A "Barker 390" pump-action shotgun can be used and is commonly found with low level mobsters. It can be identified as a Remington 870, and not the Mossberg 500AT some have claimed it to be, by the rounded trigger guard and the shorter magazine tube cap.

Winchester Model 1887

A Winchester Model 1887 resembling the configuration from Terminator 2 is available for use in Mafia 3, and a rare sight with mid game mafia goons. Lincoln can flip-cock the gun in a manner similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger albeit with one thumb given the smaller lever loop. It appears as the "Elmwood 1925" with a special version with the Judge, Jury and Executioner Weapon Pack, the "Exterminatore".

With the "Family Kick-back" pre-order pack, a special version of the M1A1 was included called the "Trench 1938 Drum" , having a vertical grip much like the earlier M1921 Thompsons, but still built into the M1A1-style forestock.

Rifles

M1 Garand

A M1 Garand appears in-game as the "Mayweather .30" and commonly found with mid-game NPC's. Oddly the weapons description claims it replaced the in-game M1 Carbine analogue, rather than having both serve side by side like in real life.

M14

The M14 appears as the "Automat SG" and is used by late-game mobsters although it does spawn in a few early game locations. It's notable for using it's own seperate ammo type, so you can only get ammo from other M14's with it.
