submachine guns

A submachine guns is a dummy that appeared in this movie? I think McGee's SMG is J&R Engineering M68 Carbine with fake drum magazines.-- KINKI'boy (talk) 00:23, 4 May 2019 (JST)

M68 Carbine - 9x19mm

I think...

1. Why 1911 is identified as Rock Island Armory 1911? It can be just any model of 1911, it isn't seen clear enough.

2. Ruger - the barrel looks too thin for tapered barrel of Rugers (but it's a guess as the quality is too low for positive identification), and the grip, due to position of the hand, must be more vertical.

3. PPSh - the barrel on second screenshot is tooooo long for PPSh. And the magazine seems too thin (but this again may be a result of low quality image).

4. Ruger Mini-14 - looks more like M1 Carbine, right?

I had correct the M1 Carbine and Ruger pistol (in the Ruger pistol section, I also correct the link to the second screenshot). About M1911 pistol - this is Philippines, so, the domestic Rock Island Armory 1911 is a much more availible, rather than other foregen 1911 variants. About PPSh - the muzzle on the first screenshot is very similar, I also check the book "Encyclopedy of Forearms" by A.B. Zhuk and hadn't find any other similar looking SMGs. But. it's possibly, that was the Philippines SMG, based on the PPSh, but not it's direct copy. Pyramid Silent (talk) 14:42, 4 May 2019 (EDT)
Never heard about Philippines version of PPSh. But may be, may be... In this case I have no idea what it can be. Concerning 1911: standard M1911A1 were issued to Philippines military long before Rock Island Armory started production. But anyway it's possible. Then the shotgun also may be local produced Armscor M30 (early version Squires-Bingham Model 30 had wooden furniture). And the pistol, re-IDed as P38, seems to me to be hammerless. Maybe againt it's due to low quality. --Greg-Z (talk) 15:19, 4 May 2019 (EDT)
