Pyramid of the Sun God (original German title Die Pyramide des Sonnengottes ) is a 1965 Eurowestern directed by Robert Siodmak and based on the novel by Karl May. It is the second film of the dilogy, following Treasure of the Aztecs (also 1965). The hunt for the ancient Aztec treasure continues, involving Dr. Sternau (Lex Barker ), Count Alfonso di Rodriganda (Gerard Barray), his mistress Josefa (Michele Girardon) and Lazoro Verdoja (Rik Battaglia ), former Mexican Army Captain turned bandit chief.

Enfield No. 2 Mk.I
Like in the first part , Capt. Verdoja (Rik Battaglia ) carries the Enfield No.2 Mk I revolver with custom pearl or ivory grips.

Smith & Wesson Military & Police
Like in the first part , Dr. Sternau (Lex Barker ) and Count Alfonso di Rodriganda (Gérard Barray) carry Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolvers. Capt. Verdoja (Rik Battaglia ) holds the M&P revolver instead of his Enfield No.2 Mk I in a continuty error. M&P revolvers are also seen in hands of bandits in reused footage of the first part.

Percussion Cap Carbine
Most Verdoja's bandits and Potoca's soldiers carry percussion cap short muskets. These guns resemble 1862 Richmond Carbine but have differently placed barrel bands and the brass patch box on the buttstock, similar to the one seen on Model 1841 Mississippi Rifle.
