The Ratmil Model 96 (Pistol Mitralieră model 1996 RATMIL) is an open-bolt, blowback operated submachine gun produced in Romania at Cugir Factory, chambered for 9x19mm Luger Parabellum. It features an AK-style folding stock, sights and safety. It is used by Romanian law enforcement and appears in American movies filmed in Romania. Not to be confused with the PM md. 96 (Sadu ASALT-96).
