The majority of the weapons used throughout Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea are real weapons. At the start of the second season various fictional weapons began to appear as the show went from being a plausible Sci Fi/Drama to a more Sci Fi/Fantasy style adventure show.


M1911A1

The main sidearm of the US Military at the time (and the Nelson Institute) this was seen more than any other weapon on the show.

MP40

An assassin on a helicopter chasing Admiral Nelson and Captain Phillips with a MP40. He killed the MP escorts and Captain Phillips before being shot by Nelson.
