I can't find any evidence the RCMP ever used Webleys. After withdrawing the Colt New Service, they used Smith & Wesson Model 10s with a five inch barrel until switching to 9mm automatics in the '80s and '90s. I think the RCMP might have used them alongside the New Service, though probably for a short time as they were more a military sidearm than police. It should be noted. The artists might have just used the Webley as it's a more well known British sidearm and some might find it weird why the RCMP would have US made revolvers, if they didn't know beforehand. --PaperCake 16:22, 25 May 2016 (EST)

Webleys are hybrids?

The barrels definitely aren't from a Webley. They're clearly round and not flat sided like a Webley, plus the front site looks off. Anyone able to roughly ID the barrel's origin? To me it looks a WW2 era S&W minus the ejector rod. --Slemke1998 (talk) 17:01, 30 April 2018 (EDT)
