We Will Come Back (Sekretar raykoma)
Original Poster
We Will Come Back (US release title; original title Sekretar raykoma ("The District Secretary"), Eglish subtitled version Russian Guerrillas ) is a Soviet 1942 B&W war movie directed by Ivan Pyryev. The film depicts the struggle of Soviet partisans unit, lead by the District Secretary Stepan Kochet (Vasili Vanin ), against the occupational Nazi German troops under the command of Col. Makenau (Mikhail Astangov ). When first attempts to destroy the partisans fail, Makenau infiltrates his spy Lt. Albrecht (Viktor Kulakov ), who poses himself as Soviet Lt. Orlov, into the partisans unit. "Orlov"'s attempts are almost crowned with success but he is uncovered by radio operator Natasha (Marina Ladynina ). Kochet uses "Orlov" to give Makenau disinformation about the meeting of partisans commanders. Partisans lure enemy troops in ambush and are victorious.
