Mirage (original Latvian title Mirāža , Russian title Мираж ) is a Soviet Latvian 1983 crime mini-series directed by Aloiz Brench and based on the novel The World In My Pocket by James Hadley Chase.

Ginny Gordon's (Mirdza Martinsone ) personal weapon is a Nagant M1895 revolver with a very short sawn-off barrel so the revolver distantly resembles Colt Detective Special . In the final scene the same movie prop is carried by Police commissioner Delaney (Martins Verdins ).

A Sturmgewehr 44 , visually modified to resemble AR-10 , is used by Frank Morgan (Regimantas Adomaitis ) during the robbery in restaurant. In the final scene Ed Black (Ints Burans ) fires this assault rifle at US Army soldiers who are armed with similar weapons.
