finished article.

The "M16A2" is clearly an A1-styled carbine, most likely an XM177 or XM177E1 by the length of the barrel, and the MP5 looks more like an old style MP5A2 ("S-E-F" trigger group instead of bullet pictograms) with slimline handguard and an add-on suppressor than an SD. "SVD Dragunov"

I don't really think that "SVD" is really SVD because it has a magazine of PSL... Witol96 03.09.2013

AK-47

Apart from SVD with PSL mag the AK-47 in this game looks more like Type-56 mixed with Zastava M70B1 receiver and handguards. This page may need some remake (see mis-identified AR-style carbine or MP5 variant), I'm thinking about doing it soon. --Chris22lr (talk) 08:18, 22 January 2014 (EST)

I was gonna propose to change the section to a Zastava M70B1 due to the handguard and RPK-style receiver. Should we list it as such? (or is it some kind of hybrid like Chris said?) Also, here's extra shots of the weapon:

The (horrible quality) third-person model slightly differs, though, probably showing a Type 56. Opinions? --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 17:58, 17 October 2017 (EDT)
I've made the change to list it as an M70B1 for now (EDIT: it has a Type 56 hooded front sight; I'm gonna mention this on the page, though most parts of the weapon match the Zastava, including the gas block), and since there isn't much detail on the front sight of the third-person model, I think we can safely list the latter as an actual AK-47. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 07:08, 20 October 2017 (EDT)
EDIT: Since it appears to have a lighter furniture, is it better to list the third-person model as a Type 56? --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 13:31, 20 January 2018 (EST)
I wouldn't think so; it doesn't have enough detail to make a definite ID, but it does certainly lack the underfolding bayonet and its lug. Also, I'm pretty sure that original AKs can have lighter furniture. On a different note, I'm pretty sure that the supposed "MP5SD3" is actually just an MP5A3 with a slimline forearm and a flash hider. Thoughts? Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 13:43, 20 January 2018 (EST)
Eh, I'm ok with calling that AK an M70, especially given the forend/gas block style - and just noting the Chinese-type front sight. I'd also agree about the MP5 being a A3 with the quite obviously slimline forend though I believe that is supposed to be a suppressor (just a detachable type rather than integral) rather than a flash hider.
