This article is about the Steven Spielberg film. You may be looking for the fictional weapon featured in the Doom video game series, and the film of the same name.

The BFG is a 2016 film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on Roald Dahl's popular children's novel. A young orphan girl named Sophie is befriended by the Big Friendly Giant, who delivers dreams at night to children, and alerts the world to the existence of his fellow giants, evil creatures who prey on humans.

The Beefeaters guarding Buckingham Palace aim L1A1 rifles (the British version of the FN FAL) at the BFG (Mark Rylance) when he reveals himself on the grounds in daylight.
