Duty (Dolg) is a Soviet 1977 made for TV adventure movie directed by Anatoli Nitochkin. The film is set in Central Asia during the Russian civil war. A small group of Reds, lead by Comissar Selivanov (Nikolay Olyalin) crosses the steppe, pursued by Whites under the command of Col. Stepanov (Leonid Markov).
The following weapons were used in the film Duty (Dolg):
Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used by both Reds and Whites, including Selivanov (Nikolay Olyalin) and Col. Stepanov (Leonid Markov). All revolvers are of anachronistic post-1930 version.
Mauser C96
Mauser C96 pistols are also used by Reds and Whites.
Flintlock Pistol
A Flintlock Pistol of Oriental design is seen in Khan Dzengenev's yurt.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Most Reds and Whites are armed with Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M91s.
In one scene a Red soldier carries a rifle that is seen only partially. The shape of the front sight protectors matches M1917 Enfield but it's not enough for positive identification.
Machine Guns
Maxim M1910/30
Maxim M1910/30 machine guns are seen in the field camp of Whites. They are of post-1941 version.
