The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob (original title Les Aventures de Rabbi Jacob) is a 1973 French comedy directed by Gérard Oury and starring Louis de Funès as Victor Pivert, a French businessman who has to impersonate Rabbi Jacob from New York and passed through numerous comedy situations together with Mohamed Larbi Slimane, an Arab rebel leader who is pursued by cruel Colonel Farès.
The following weapons were used in the film The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob (Les Aventures de Rabbi Jacob):
Several of Farès' men are armed with M1911A1 pistols.
Beretta M1934
One of Farès' men is armed with a Beretta-style pistol that is supposed to be a Beretta M1934.
Unique Model L
One of Farès' men is armed with a pistol that appears to be a Unique Model L (or possibly Model C-2, a direct predecessor of Model L). When Mohamed Larbi Slimane disarms the henchmen, his pistol switches to MAB Model D. However, during the airport scene with the redheaded woman, it switches back to the Unique pistol when Victor Pivert forces Slimane to fire it.
MAB Model D
When Mohamed Larbi Slimane (Claude Giraud) disarms Farès' henchman, the pistol switches to MAB Model D. Slimane uses it in several scenes, and Victor Pivert (Louis de Funès) briefly catches the pistol from the slide as he states that he's "happy to shake a Prime Minister's revolver" in the car scene.
