Riverdale (2017-)

Riverdale is a 2017 television series that is based on the characters created for the Archie comic books. The series premiered in the US on the CW in January of 2017. The show also airs on Netflix internationally.

A Smith & Wesson Model 686 is found in Ms. Grundy's Volkswagen Beetle by Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhert) and later by Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick) in "Chapter Four: The Last Picture Show". Alice appears to use it as her sidearm when hearing suspicious noises at the Cooper residence in "Chapter Twelve: Anatomy of a Murder".
