Advancements in weapons

I'm glad that the show production had some sense to put weapons that are more correct for the 60s alternate time period, thought they could have tried to give the MP5s straight magazines, but still pretty cool. I guess weapon distribution would have been slower for client states of the Reich. We see the American-based GNR troops using WWII-era rifles and submachine guns, but true German troops at the embassy and Germany using G3s and MP5s; kind of mirrors how then, our world's NATO-backed client states were still using Lee-Enfields and Sterlings when the US or the UK forces were already using M14s or L1A1s. In a logistical standpoint, it only makes sense to give other people older equipment while restocking with the new gear. -- SSgt LuLZ 19:57, 14 March 2017 (GMT)

Also I find it hard to believe that the SVD would exist in this alternate timeline since the Russians were completely wiped out. We can assume since the Soviet had no chance to let Kalashnikov achieve his dream of creating the AK, the SVD would not have been invented because it was inspired by the AK design. 100 yen for per bullet?

In Episode 4, Frank buys ammo from a store and the owner charges him 100 yen a piece. This doesn't make sense unless he was using dollars. 100 yen accounting for inflation would be worth $6.85 today and 3 would be $20.55. The line should have been converted from yen to dollars equal back then to make the price more worth it. 100 yen = to 87 cents today. Excalibur01 (talk) 15:35, 15 February 2016 (EST)

that's assuming that inflation rate in the alternate world in the show had stayed the same, and also that when they swiched to Yen in the Pacific States they actually switched to the same Yen as Japan and not a completely new currency also called Yen (Smiliar to the Pound used in many countries all with different exchange rates). --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 10:50, 14 March 2017 (EDT)

Designs of the alternate period

Still kinda bothers me that for at least the German side, it isn't as advanced as the book tells us. According to the book, the Germans have advanced to having operations on the moon at this point with a far more advanced tech look on their side compared to the Japanese, which understandably is lagging behind in tech because of their ways.
