Walking Tall

Walking Tall is a 1973 action drama directed by Phil Karlson, a semi-biopic of Sheriff Buford Pusser, a professional wrestler turned lawman. Joe Don Baker appears in the main role. The movie was followed by two sequels: Walking Tall Part 2 (1975) and Walking Tall: Final Chapter (1977), both starring Bo Svenson . In 2004 a remake , starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson , was made. In turn it was followed by two sequels: Walking Tall: The Payback and Walking Tall: Lone Justice (both 2007).
