The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series Fortitude:

Pistols

Glock 17

Members of the Norwegian Police Service stationed in Fortitude continue to carry the Glock 17 as their service firearm. Officers Eric Odegard (Björn Hlynur Haraldsson) and Petra Bergen (Alexandra Moen) and Ingrid Witry (Mia Jexen) are seen carrying them in a trailers for Season 2.

Note: Ordinary Norwegian police officers are usually not armed, but they have weapons in their patrol cars. The standard issue pistol for the Norwegian policemen is the Heckler & Koch P30, while the special unit has access to Glocks. It can be assumed the reason the officers permanently carry their guns is due to the laws in Fortitude stating all citizens must be armed (in case of polar bear attacks).

Remington 700 BDL

The Remington 700 BDL continues to be the rifle of choice for many Fortitude residents, including Michael Lennox (Dennis Quaid), Natalie Yelburton (Sienna Guillory) and Vincent Rattrey (Luke Treadaway).
