Mauser rifle differns from Karabiner 98k. It has a groove on the stock that doesn't appear on 98k, and a hook on barrel band. Possibly a shortened Gewehr 98, like Mauser Standard Modell. Greg-Z (talk) 12:40, 4 January 2017 (EST)

None of these rifles have the hook on top barrel band. But it's a very often seen feature on Mauser Standard rifles: for example this, this, or this. Some Mauser Standard have bent bolt handle. Greg-Z (talk) 13:06, 4 January 2017 (EST)
