SRCM Mod. 35
Bomba a Mano Mod. 35, S.R.C.M.
The Bomba a Mano Mod. 35, S.R.C.M. was part of the Italian "Red Devil" Hand Grenades family used by the Italian Armed Forces in WW2 and afterwards. The other two being the Bomba a Mano Mod. 35, O.T.O. and Bomba a Mano Mod. 35, BREDA.
They all have the same model number being "Mod. 35" so it seems that they were all developed at the same time by 3 different manufacturers.
They were HIGH EXPLOSIVE hand grenades with impact fuses. Other variats of each manufacturer were available being SMOKE INCENDIARY (FI) and PRACTICE.
The HIGH EXPLOSIVE variants were pointed in red, whereas the SMOKE INCENDIARY (FI) were yellow and the PRACTICE were white. This can also help with identification.
