Under Northern Lights (rus. Под северным сиянием; Pod severnym siyaniyem) aka Under Aurora (jap. オーロラの下で; Orora no shita de) is a 1990 Soviet-Japanese coperated movie, directed by Petras Abukiavicus, Toshio Gotô and Sergei Vronsky. It's tooked plase in Russian and Japanese Epires between 1912 to 1917, and tells about life and friendship of Japanese hunter Genzo Tamiya (Kôji Yakusho), his Russian friend Arseniy (Andrei Boltnev) and Arseniy's tamed wolf Buran. This movie was filmed in Siberia and Japan, by Soviet-Japanese cast and crew and was bilingual.
