8 Million Ways to Die is a 1986 crime thriller directed by Hal Ashby (The Last Detail) and stars Jeff Bridges as Matthew "Matt" Scudder, an LA Sheriff's Deputy whose career and family life are in shambles due to his alcohol addiction and a tragic shooting.
