Talk:Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)
1973 Prologue
Very strange, they built a 100% accurate replica of the original house, got period accurate cars (Dodge Diplomat aside), had some common guns available in the 70s, and the Sawyers are all dressed like a 1970s-era family. But the vigilantes all look like the average citizen of rural Anywhere, USA. I'm fairly certain the sleeveless camo shirt the one guy is wearing wasn't available in the 70s (I'm guessing late 80s/early 90s), and the guy with the rifle has a pretty-modern looking wristwatch. And I don't know if fishhooks in baseball caps were even a thing in the 70s (Didn't Larry the Cable Guy start that trend?) Yeah, the film kinda mucked up the setting and timeline, but they put a lot of work in the cars, house, and the Sawyers, but it felt like they kinda half-assed the vigilantes. - User:1morey August 7, 2016 1:03 PM (EST)
