xXx: Return of Xander Cage is a 2017 action film sequel to 2003's xXx. Vin Diesel reprises his role as Xander Cage, the extreme sports athlete recruited by the NSA who now comes out of retirement to stop a deadly superweapon from falling into the wrong hands. The film's cast included returning co-star Samuel L. Jackson in addition to Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa. The film was directed by D.J. Caruso and is now being by Paramount Pictures (the first two films were distributed by Sony Pictures).
