Christmas Rush Breakaway Dean Cain , Erika Eleniak and Eric Roberts . Chicago PD Lt. Cornelius Morgan (Cain) is temporary resigned from service after he accidentally wounded a bystander during the shootout with criminals. To make things worser, the victim sued for a large sum, and all these lead to a conflict between Morgan and his wife Catherine. In the last day of Christmas Rush Morgan visits the large shopping mall where Catherine works. There he encounters a group of robbers, lead by Morgan's old acquaintance Jimmy Scalzetti (Roberts). Now Morgan is the only man who can stop the robbers and save people taken as hostages, including his wife.
Note: while the story is set in Chicago, the movie was filmed in Winnipeg, Canada, that affects the choice of screen guns.
