Gintama (2006 - ongoing)

Gintama is an science-fiction comedy anime television series about a Samurai, Gintoki Sakata, who runs an all service enterprise (they do anything for money). The story takes place in a fictional Edo (ancient name for Tokyo) 20 years after aliens called the Amanto invaded Japan during the isolation of Japan.

Sasaki Isaburo uses a Beretta 92FS that is highly modified, similar like in Equilibrium. It is shown to have wooden grips and a heavily modified barrel.
