Welcome to IMFDB

Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. After that you should also read the IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Style Guide to familiarize yourself with the image and formatting requirements for pages you create.

There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.

Kingsman and 24

Thanks very much for joining the site. If you can, please visit the 24: Live Another Day page to see if any weapons were not included yet or were not identified correctly. --Ben41 (talk) 23:18, 10 July 2014 (EDT)

Also, is it possible to identify the pistol used by the Kingsman in the film Kingsman: The Secret Service? It looks like a Tokarev, but is this a custom pistol? --Ben41 (talk) 18:07, 10 July 2014 (EDT)

Ben, The platform is a Russian TT30 which has then been custom engineered by our in house team: Refinished and reblacked, custom hand made grips, re-profiling of the slide, hammer and frame and a shotgun attachment underneath. They were designed and made by our armoury technician here in the UK and only 6 were ever made. Custom suppressors where requested during filming which were also designed and made in house at Cohort Film Services. They were made specific to each gun, so only 6 were made in total.

Hi Ben, Please let me know how I can get in contact with you directly so I can advise on alterations. I am new to this platform and don't know how to add images, details and descriptions. Thanks

You can respond by dropping a comment on my talk page and I can add the corrections for you. You could also just write on your own talk page as well. Also, it's best if you sign your posts by clicking the "signature button" located at the top or typing --~~~~ The IMFDB Style Guide is helpful if you want to change or add entries to pages. --Ben41 (talk) 13:03, 14 July 2014 (EDT)

Ben, see below for any correction/additions for 24:LAD

The CIA black-ops assassin that kills Jordan Reed used a Glock 19 with suppressor. Margot uses an XD-9, not an XD-45. Iain fires a Glock 18C, not a Glock 17 auto. Secret Service are armed with MP5K-A1s when Belcheck arrives with the President. Kareem, the assassin in the hospital is armed with a Sig P232, so is Stolanavich (although that is stainless). The full length AKs seen being used by the Chinese are infact genuine AK47s and not Norinco copies. The Russian Agents who engage Jack and Kate are mainly armed with HK53s and HK USPs. Only the lead agent is armed with the Sig 552-2 RIS

Why did you remove the picture of the CIA SAD operator using the SCAR and the mention of this in the SCAR's page description? --SmithandWesson36 (talk) 05:48, 14 July 2014 (EDT)

That CIA operator was actually me and I was using a SCAR-H. A new section needs to be added for that. NB: Rask also uses an FDE SCAR-H during the firefight before being overrun by Jack

HK G36KV

You recently replaced the G36KV image on 24: Live Another Day with this one:

Error creating thumbnail: File missing
Heckler & Koch G36KV - 5.56x45mm

Is this an actual screen-used firearm? The site would like to specify it in the caption. Please let us know. --Ben41 (talk)

If you have any other screen used weapons you want to add, you can add it as a new image by using the "upload file" line located on the bottom left. --Ben41 (talk) 13:13, 14 July 2014 (EDT)

Ben, yes that is one of the 4 G36K assault rifles used on the show, complete with XPS sight, magnifier and suppressor.

Thanks very much! I will put the information in the caption and the image will go on the Heckler & Koch G36 page. Any more images are more than welcome. Also, did you get a chance to look at the Kingsman: The Secret Service page? --Ben41 (talk) 06:55, 15 July 2014 (EDT)

No problem. I will upload a couple more photos if you want. Cheng's pistol and a few other hero weapons. I have already uploaded the Russian agent's Sig 552-2RIS Thank you for the note on the G36, however 'special thanks to Cohort Film Services' is more than enough, you can take off my user name.

No problem and thanks again for your great images! For your future images, just upload them as new images instead of overwriting and remember to use a distinctive filename. Some of the images that were overwritten are used on multiple pages, and because your images are screen-used weapons, just want to make sure that they get proper credit. --Ben41 (talk) 09:22, 15 July 2014 (EDT)

Got it. I will make sure to do that next time. Just getting used to this system.

More 24 Weapons

Just wanted to ask what the sniper rifle was in Episode 12. Here's a screenshot:

If you are still having trouble adding photos, just upload them on your own talk page and then they will be put on the proper pages. --Ben41 (talk) 05:26, 18 July 2014 (EDT)

Its a Remington ACR with Ziess scope and 10rnd magazine fitted with a custom suppressor and Harris bi-pod

Thanks! One more for you, is the pistol seen below a SIG-Sauer P226, a SIG Pro or something else? --Ben41 (talk) 10:44, 18 July 2014 (EDT)

The pistol carried by Belcheck (Branko Tomovic) in the season finale "Day 9: 10:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m." (S9E12).

Ben, that is a Sig Pro. Taken from a Russian merc on board but that scene didn't make the cut. Dont forget: The CIA black-ops assassin that kills Jordan Reed used a Glock 19 with suppressor. Margot uses an XD-9, not an XD-45. Iain fires a Glock 18C, not a Glock 17 auto. Secret Service are armed with MP5K-A1s when Belcheck arrives with the President. The full length AKs seen being used by the Chinese are infact genuine AK47s and not Norinco copies. T

Thanks for the clarifications. Couple more questions for you: Was there a MK19 Grenade Launcher mounted on the Humvees in Afghanistan? The sniper rifles that Russians were holding at the end of the last episode were Remington 700 rifles? Was the G36C used by Belchek in the last episode also used by MI5 in that earlier episode? Also, if you could sign your posts (just to make sure it's you and what time you responded) with the following: --~~~~. --Ben41 (talk) 18:16, 18 July 2014 (EDT)

No MK19 fitted, just 50Cals. Yes the Russian had Remington 700's trained on Jack and Belcheck. Only G36Ks where used by Mi5. Belchecks gun is a G36C fitted with ELCAN spectreDR and suppressor. Russian Agents used Sig Pro's and HK USP, if your able to find any screenshots. --~~~~. --CFS01 (talk) 11:33, 19 July 2014 (GMT)

SIG Pro

Hey, do you happen to remember what caliber the SIG Pro that Belcheck used was? I only ask because that would help us identify the exact model that was used the SP 2009 or SP 2340. Thanks, you've been such a big help for the 24: LAD page already. --SmithandWesson36 (talk) 12:44, 21 July 2014 (EDT)

One more question about 24

Please help clarify about the use of the AK rifle with the underfolding stock that was used by Belcheck in the final episode. Is that one a Norinco or an AK? (also you can leave out the "no wiki" parts when signing. --Ben41 (talk) 16:44, 24 July 2014 (EDT)
