Taurus Model 617
Det. (later Lt.) Cynthia Ernst's (Annabeth Gish) personal sidearm is a Taurus Model 617 revolver. Due to its shadow grey finish it appears to be a Total Titanium version. In the original novel Cynthia carries a "9mm Glock automatic with a fifteen shot clip and hollow-point bullets" and a "tiny, chrome-plated Smith & Wesson five-shot pistol" as a backup weapon.
Smith & Wesson Model 66
Det. Martin Quinn (Casey Sander) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 66 revolver.
Taurus Model 80
In one scene Wanda Fairly (Stephanie Cameron) uses a revolver that appears to be a Taurus Model 80 with 3" barrel.
Unidentified revolvers
In one scene Det. Ruby Bowe (J. Karen Thomas) carries a revolver in her bag. Only a small part can be seen.
During the arrest of James 'Little Jesus' Calhoun Det. Kralik (Michael Shamus Wiles) holds a snub nose revolver.

A Beretta 92FS Inox is a personal sidearm of Sgt. Malcolm Ainslie (Tom Berenger). In the original novel Ainslie carries a "15-shot 9-mm Glock".

Glock 17
In one scene a robber (Dennis Fitzgerald) is armed with a Glock 17. Some Miami PD detectives and officers, including Det. Ruby Bowe (J. Karen Thomas), carry Glocks as their service sidearms.
