A Simple Plan
A Simple Plan is a 1998 American drama directed by Sam Raimi and based on the novel of the same name by Scott Smith, who also wrote the screenplay of the film. The film stars Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton as brothers who face a moral dilemma upon discovering a crashed plane filled with millions of dollars. The cast also includes Bridget Fonda and Gary Cole. The film was nominated for several Academy Awards, including Billy Bob Thornton for Best Supporting Actor and Scott Smith for Best Adapted Screenplay.
