The Sandpit Generals (also known as Wild Pack and The Defiant) is a 1971 low budget exploitation film based on the novel Captains of the Sands by Brazilian novellist Jorge Amado. It was little known in USA, but became an iconic film in USSR where it was awarded "The Best Foreigh Film" in 1974. The Sandpit Generals was remade as City of God at 2002.

Due to film's low budget, it was filmed at low resolution and was never restored.

The following weapons were used in the film The Sandpit Generals:

Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector

Bullet (Kent Lane), leader of the teenagers gang, carries the Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector under his clothes through the film. He uses it at the a few gun battles. Dora (Tisha Sterling) uses this gun at the one moment.
