Welcome to IMFDB

Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. If it is determined by an admin that you have not read these rules, your account will be suspended. Continued non-compliance may result in a permanent ban.

There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here but make sure to sign your post by typing --~~~~.

Finally, IMFDB has a forum set up here that is only available to registered members. There is lots of good stuff to see there. If you would like to join the forum, please post HERE and an account will be created for you.

Now, HAPPY EDITING! bunni (talk) 22:10, 26 April 2014 (EDT)

The Departed

If at all possible, we'd like to avoid spoilers. All that matters is who used what gun, not why or for what purpose. --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:44, 27 April 2014 (EDT)

Please review the "Spoilers" section of the Rules, Standards and Principles. --Ben41 (talk) 16:55, 28 April 2014 (EDT)

Gun page additions

Any particular reason you're adding listings on gun pages that don't have the relevant media pages on the site? StanTheMan (talk) 20:56, 24 May 2014 (EDT)

Listing the gun's appearance without proof of said appearance is kinda counter-intuitive - How can we see and therefore know and properly document that that gun was used by that actor and/or appeared in that piece of media? You may check with an admin but my understanding was that it's de-facto policy that a media page be there prior to making an entry on actor and/or gun pages, again so we actually verify that that firearm was used there. Making a listing without the relevant page is pointless in terms of documentation purposes, and is essentially spam, though minor.
