The Monuments Men is a 2014 World War II film directed by and starring George Clooney. Based on a true story, the film follows an Allied platoon consisting of mostly scholars and curators tasked with finding art captured by the Germans during the war before they are destroyed. The film's cast includes Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, and Bob Balaban.
