The Forty-first (Sorok pervyy) is a Soviet 1956 war drama romance film directed by Grigoriy Chukhray. The story takes place during the Russian civil war. The female Red Army sniper (Izolda Izvitskaya) and a White Army officer (Oleg Strizhenov) will experienced unexpected love story after shipwrecked on a deserted island.
