The Gendarme of St. Tropez (original title Le gendarme de Saint-Tropez) is a 1964 French comedy directed by Jean Girault and starring Louis de Funès as Ludovic Cruchot, the sergeant of French gendarmerie. This is the first movie about the adventures of Cruchot; five sequels vere filmed in 1965-1982.

Luger P08
In the final scene one of Harper's henchmen is armed with a Luger P08. Then Harper (Giuseppe Porelli) himself is seen with this pistol.
M1911A1
In the final scene another of Harper's henchmen is armed with an M1911A1-style pistol.
Sten Mk II
In Cruchot's dream he appears as a World War II commando, armed with a Sten Mk II submachine gun.
MP40
In Cruchot's dream the German soldiers carry MP40 submachine guns.
LP-42 Flare Pistol
During the raid on nudists Gendarme Albert Merlot (Christian Marin) fires an LP-42 Flare Pistol.
Trivia
Cruchot and other gendarms carry Model 1948 GT1 and GT2 holsters for MAC Mle 1950 pistols. But the holsters are empty. Cruchot himself carries a large handkerchief and some money in his holster.
