Talk:Hawaii Five-0 (2010) - Season 4
Funny thing, when they approach the crashed truck after shooting at it, Danny has no mag in his rifle, its like 2 seconds, but you can see it clearly, nobody noticed it on set? And before anyone says it, its clearly not an AR57 you can clearly see an upper hanguard rail 2 seconds later and he has a mag when they are shooting. --Iceman (talk) 16:24, 28 September 2013 (EDT)
- I noticed that as well. At first I thought it may have been a 10 round PMAG but there is nothing there. It may just be a different setup but I thought Danny's and Catherine's rifles looked different than anything in the past seasons.----JazzBlackBelt-- (talk) 16:53, 29 September 2013 (EDT)
- I wonder if the mag release was accidentally triggered and nobody noticed during the take. --DeltaOne (talk) 02:26, 30 September 2013 (EDT)
Yeah and its there in the next couple of seconds, so someone noticed told him to put it in and then they didn't reshoot (since Danny has no vest they had to stop shooting to give him the mag, I doubt that they went to such a small detail as loading his pockets with mags), I guess they don't really care about that kind of small detail, or perhaps they were going for a reload, which is a weird point to do one ,seconds after leaving cover and approaching an uncleared target and its still the problem with where he got a new one, no one approaching wears a vest. --Iceman (talk) 15:48, 1 October 2013 (EDT)
My question is why did Chin take the SPP when the main office of Five-0 had an armory? He could have geared up with a vest and rifle with enough ammo to spare Excalibur01 (talk) 10:46, 7 October 2013 (EDT)
SAA
Due to the shape of the hammer, I think it the SAA may be a Ruger Vaquero. --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:33, 6 October 2013 (EDT)
Steve out of ammo??
For the man who in the very first episode one seemed to have an unlimited supply of mags that he would toss away a partially emptied mags mid way...didn't bring a spare in episode 8? I know this is nitpick, but as a guy who knows other cops and even they have spare mags off duty but to me, this is out of character for Steve so I'm going to let out a confused "huh?" Excalibur01 (talk) 01:18, 17 November 2013 (EST)
- That really bugged my too, considering that both of them were open carrying full size pistols with tactical lights attached, it wouldn't exactly be much more trouble to carry a couple of mags too. --commando552 (talk) 05:45, 17 November 2013 (EST)
PMAG 40
In episode 8, I think I just saw Steve with two PMAG 40s clamped together in his rifle Excalibur01 (talk) 01:35, 17 November 2013 (EST)
Yep, they sure are. What should we call his rifle? It's obviously not a Noveske Diplomat anymore.
- Did anyone notice anything weird about the pistols carried by the officers backing them up in that scene? To me it looked like they had bobbed hammers, but adjustable rear sights and a safety catch meaning that they weren't 5946s. So does that just mean that they are 5906s that have been modified with bobbed hammers? --commando552 (talk) 05:42, 17 November 2013 (EST)
- Or they could be the 4006 CHP (California Highway Patrol) variant, as I think they all had the combination of a bobbed hammer and adjustable sights. Or it could be another police variant in another caliber, as I believe the bobbed hammer was a relatively common police modification. --commando552 (talk) 08:00, 17 November 2013 (EST)
