Our Man Flint
|
Our Man Flint is a 1966 spy comedy directed by Daniel Mann. A parody on the James Bond genre, the film stars James Coburn as super spy Derek Flint, who works for Z.O.W.I.E. (Zonal Organization for World Intelligence and Espionage) against a trio of mad scientists, calling themselves Galaxy, who threaten the world with their climate-control device. The film would be followed by the 1967 sequel In Like Flint.
The following weapons were used in the film Our Man Flint:
Walther PPK
When Flint (James Coburn) readies for the mission, Lloyd Cramden (Lee J. Cobb), chief of Z.O.W.I.E., gives him a suppressed Walther PPK (a satire of Bond's prefered weapon), but Flint refuses to take the pistol. In this scene Cramden himself names the pistol "Walther PPK".
Beretta M1935
A suppressed Beretta M1935 is carried by the Galaxy hitman Hans Gruber (Michael St. Clair). Flint uses Gruber's pistol in the scene in the den in Marseilles.
Margolin MCM
In the only scene when Malcolm Rodney (Edward Mulhare) is seen with a weapon, he carries a suppressed Margolin MCM. The weapon also appears on the Japanese film poster.
Walther P38
Walther P38 pistols are seen in hands of Rodney's henchmen.
Beretta Model 38
Beretta Model 38 submachine guns with removed barrel shrouds are seen in hands of fake guards in Z.O.W.I.E. building. Flint (James Coburn) also uses one of these guns.
Savage 1907
A Savage 1907 pistol is seen during the coloured title sequence.
