Moscow Heat (Russian title Moskovskaya zhara) is a 2004 Russian English-language action movie directed by Jeff Celentano. Andrew Chambers (Adrian Paul), a NYPD detective, is killed during the attempt to arrest a Russian illegal arms dealer Nikolay Klimov (Richard Tyson). Klimov flees back to Russia where he has powerful patrons. Roger Chambers (Michael York), Andrew's father, and Rudy Sousa (Robert Madrid), Andrew's partner, try to find Klimov in Moscow. They find help from Russian militsia (police) captain Vlad Stepanov (Aleksandr Nevsky).

A Makarov PM is Vlad Stepanov's (Aleksandr Nevsky) service sidearm. In several scenes he fires two PMs akimbo. Makarov pistols are also seen in hands of other characters including Roger Chambers (Michael York), Rudy Sousa (Robert Madrid), Oleg Bitz (Sergey Gorobchenko) and Oleg's and Klimov's henchmen.
In the opening scene Det. Andrew Chambers (Adrian Paul) carries a Beretta 92FS. Several other NYPD detectives carry same pistols.

In the opening scene Rudy Sousa (Robert Madrid) and Nikolay Klimov (Richard Tyson) carry pistols that resemble some version of M1911 with modern features.

AK-74 assault rifles are used by both Russian militsia and criminals. Most or even all of them are AK-74M with side-folding stock.

AKS-74U are briefly seen in the opening and the final scenes.
AKMS
In the opening scene several of Klimov's henchmen carry AKMS assault rifles. In the scene of the attack on Masha's apartments the second Oleg's henchman is armed with an AKMS.
A-91
During the shootout in the opening scene many NYPD officers are armed with A-91 assault rifles. A-91s are also seen in the final scene.

In the scene in the night club one of the OMON (Russian SWAT) troopers carries a 9A-91 carbine.
VSK-94
In the scene in the night club several of the OMON (Russian SWAT) troopers are seen with VSK-94 suppressed sniper rifle. All these rifles lack sniper scopes.

A PKM machine gun is seen among other firearms in the opening scene. It isn't used in action.
In the final scene a PKM with later version of flash hider is mounted on the GAZ-2975 'Tiger' light armored car.

In the opening scene Nikolay Klimov (Richard Tyson) uses an AKM or AKMS with a GP-25 grenade launcher. He fires a fiction armor-piercing grenade that resemble a bullet of 40-mm caliber.
