Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

From Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video Games
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The guns used in this game are:

Norinco NP-28

Called the "Pistol" it is used by all members of the San Andreas Law Enforcement community, and isn't very powerful, but when you reach the hitman skill level, you can wield two of these akimbo. A silenced version is also available for use in the game. (Oddly enough, the silenced version is actually MORE powerful, in reality they are less powerful) (In a movie, the characters use a Glock 17).

IMI Desert Eagle

The Desert Eagle is more powerful than the pistol and silenced pistol. Catalina uses one in some levels involving her, and one of the Villains, Officer Eddie Pulaski, carries one during the "High Noon" level. CJ is seen holding one after Officer Tenpenny is killed. Cesar Vialpando uses one in one level during the Los Santos riots.

Norinco Type 56

Called an "AK-47" in game, it is actually the Norinco Type 56, as told by it's hooded front sights. Some enemies and gang members use this weapon as well. A rusty old one is used by CJ during the "Reuniting the Families" level, when he, Sweet, Ryder, and Big Smoke are fleeing from the LSPD, and eventually jams on CJ.

Winchester Model 70

Called the "Sniper Rifle" in game, it only has one improvement over the Country Rifle, and that is a zoomable scope.

Hand Held GE M134

The most powerful weapon in the game, this weapon is used 3 times by CJ:, first when protecting Zero's store from Berkley's planes, again while attacking the container ship in San Fierro Bay, and then again to take out two National Guard Hunter Helicopters in the "Up, Up, and Away" level.
