Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm (2013)

Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm is an upcoming expansion for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, to be set in the Pacific Theatre of Operations, with players being able to control U.S. Army or Marine infantrymen in the fight against the Imperial Japanese Army. Apart from new factions, weapons and settings, it includes new features such as banzai charges, booby traps and grenade launchers. All weapons have been confirmed through official media releases and all screenshots taken from the beta.

The M1903A1 Springfield will be available in-game for U.S. forces. It can be upgraded to fit a bayonet. The player can choose to perform either a full reload with the five-round stripper clip, or a partial reload with loose rounds.

The M1928A1 Thompson is the submachine gun for U.S. troops in-game. Early gameplay trailers showed it with simplified L-shaped sights, but as of the beta release it features the box-shaped sights.
