”Milk” (2008)

“Milk” is a 2008 biography of the life and assassination of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man elected to a major office in the United States. Directed by Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting, Elephant), the film stars Sean Penn in an Oscar-winning, Best Performance role as Milk. The film also starts Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch, Diego Luna, and James Franco.

Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chief Special"

Ex-Supervisor Dan White (Josh Brolin) used a Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chief Special" to murder San Francisco Mayor George Moscone (Victor Garber) and Supervisor Harvey Milk (Sean Penn) in 1978.
