I can't seem to find an image of this model anywhere online except for a Get Smart fansite. At least two gun were used in the film. --Funkychinaman (talk) 03:31, 26 January 2013 (EST)

T26 Tanker Garand Rifle

The rifle seen in the Mike Force assault is a T26 Tanker Garand Rifle. I have seen them in the inventory with the flash hider removed and two holes drilled in the bottom of the trigger housing to mount a dummy magazine. It was the armories way of having a weapon look like an M14 at that time. --phoenixent 17:37, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Well, sure looks like a BM-59 to me, but you know what you're talking about so I'll bow to your knowledge on that one. - Nyles
Actually I have heard of something like that when it came to the movie adaptation if "A Rumor of War" by Phillip Caputo. If I remember correctly due to the controversial nature of the movie the producers were unable to acquire the M-14s they needed for the movie so some M-1 Garands (possibly the "Tanker" version were used in their place. It is noticeable in scenes where they are loading their weapons that they are not real M-14s but modified M-1s (of some sort). --Charon68 21:54, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Unknown Pistol

Sorry but that is not a Makarov> Am not sure what it is but not that. --Charon68 01:31, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

I don't think it's a Colt 1903 Hammerless either - due to the grips extending all the way up the frame to the slide. My first thought was a MAB Model D but there are features which would seem to rule that out as well (position of safety catch, depth of frame in front of trigger guard). IKD

I think that the unknown pistol in the green berets movie is a Browning Hi-Power because of the frame and slide of the pistol reminds me of a Browning Hi-Power. BNat93
There is no hammer on this pistol. --Ben41 (talk) 02:49, 16 October 2012 (EDT)

Another weapon on the board is a semi-automatic pistol (probably SACM M1935A).

The shape of the grip resemble Llama pistols. Can it be Llama (models III, XI and some others has the similar shape of grip) with missing, lost or removed hammer? Greg-Z (talk) 01:32, 29 January 2013 (EST)

This one has a heel-mounted mag release. I think Llama have thumb mag releases. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:46, 29 January 2013 (EST)

Suppressed Ruger MK II

I remember during the scene in which the Green Berets are on the mission to kidnap the NVA general, during the night when the team approachs the plantation Colonel Cai uses a silenced pistol to take out some of the guards, I believe it is a Ruger MK.2

Once again, please sign your posts. And is here anything else so we don't have to keep going back and forth? --Funkychinaman (talk) 00:37, 30 January 2013 (EST)

Personally, I think it's a Colt Woodsman. --Funkychinaman (talk) 02:59, 30 January 2013 (EST)

M1911A1s on display next to captured weapons display in the beginning and seen holsterd, and MK.2 Grenades on several soldiers suspenders, noteably on SFC McGee's. (talk) 22:05, 30 January 2013 (EST)
