Hopscotch
Hopscotch is a 1980 espionage comedy about a disgruntled veteran C.I.A. agent, Miles Kendig (Walter Matthau), who has grown disgusted with his incompetent superior played by Ned Beatty. He takes an unofficial retirement and writes his memoirs - while daring both the C.I.A. and the K.G.B. to stop him. Based on the novel "Hopscotch" by Brian Garfield (Death Wish,Death Sentence) who also wrote the screenplay and was one of the film's executive producers. Directed and produced by Ronald Neame (The Odessa File). Co-starring Sam Waterson, Glenda Jackson and Herbert Lom.
