Blastfighter is a 1984 Italian action movie directed by Lamberto Bava (credited as John Old, Jr.). The main character, Jake "Tiger" Sharp (Michael Sopkiw) is a former policeman. When his wife is murdered, Sharp himself killed the murderer and was sentenced to many years in prison. Now he is ready to wreak vengeance with his "Blastfighter" - SPAS-12 shotgun.
The following weapons are seen in the movie Blastfighter:
Handguns
Colt Trooper Mk III
During the flashback scene Tiger (Michael Sopkiw) uses Colt Trooper Mk III revolver to kill a murderer (Giancarlo Prati). In the final scene Tiger again uses this revolver.
Beretta pistol
The murderer (Giancarlo Prati) is briefly seen with a pistol in hand. It has the characteristic shape of Beretta pistols.
Shotguns
SPAS-12
Tiger's main weapon during the movie is "Blastfighter" - Franchi SPAS-12 with sniper scope and night vision device. In the opening scene this combat shotgun is described as "weapon of future", capable to fire not only shots, but also flechette rounds, high explosive rounds, rifle grenades and many other types of projectiles. In 1984 when the movie was filmed SPAS-12 really had a futuristic view. For some reason the English poster shows a different shotgun; SPAS-12 can be seen on French poster (see Trivia section on the page).
Rifles
Marlin Model 336
Wally (Stefano Mingardo, credited as Mike Miller) is armed with Marlin Model 336 rifle with sniper scope.
