Smith & Wesson Model 36

The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is theSmith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord), Danny "Danno" Williams (James MacArthur), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong) and Kono Kalakaua (Zulu). Various other characters are seen using the firearm as well.

M16 SP1

The M16 is prominently used by McGarrett and HPD officers when engaging a sniper in "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06).

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm
