Thank you for visiting my page! I've filled it with some "fun stuff" for all of you guys. I also want to request that you guys tell EVERYONE you know about IMFDB.org. I also will do my best to reply to anything you guys post on my talk page, but the week is busy and I may not be able to get back to you until the weekend. I also appreciate any information on page setup, as I am still green when it comes to writing about the guns. Thanks for visiting and feel free to check out my gun videos, pictures, and more!--Yo dawg 111 11:41, 2 December 2011 (CST)
About Me
Rank: User
Age: Not telling
Name: Zach
IQ: Pretty much zero ;)
I love guns (mostly handguns), and I love movies. Otherwise, I wouldn't be on this site.
If I could have one gun, it would be the very first M1911 ever made. The original probably doesn't even exist anymore, but what the heck.
I'm into a bit more than just handguns. I can answer a lot of questions about pistol safety, handling, and I can give instructions on the take down of MANY handguns. Ask me about the take down on SIGs, Berettas, Glocks, Walthers, and more!
If you are interested in concealed carry, I can give you advice on that too.
Besides gun advice, I can suggest some good movies too.
My Top 5 Handguns (handguns are my area of expertise)
5: Beretta 92FS
4: Glock 17
CCW
Crap happens. I don't care if your town never has any crime. My town doesn't even have any permanent homocide detectives. But people get jumped everywhere. Every law-abiding citizen has the ability to carry protection with legal permission.
What a Carry Gun Should be
- Relatively lightweight; a good gun will use its weight to help keep recoil down (a reason why I like steel pistols). Weight should not be the biggest factor in carry. Carry is not supposed to be comfortable. It is supposed to be comforting.
- Depending on the season, gun size is a factor. I know several people that carry subcompacts year round because 1) they love that gun, 2) they want carry to be as comfortable as possible. For summer, you want it small. Kahr Arms makes many guns under 6". Plenty small enough for summer carry.
- A carry gun should be powerful. A .32 will do the job. If you don't follow suit with Bruce Willis and blow 50 rounds through a table, vent, garbage truck door etc., you can aim for the head, and I would not want to get shot with anything. I'm sure the ba guys don't care if it's a .22LR, or a .50 Action Express, they don't want to get shot. Hollow points help with rounds like the .380. Hollow point rounds double the stopping power of a bullet. Note: The Walther PPK/S and the PPK heve some reliability issues with hollow points.
- A Glock 17 holds 17 9mm rounds. Last time I checked, we weren't Sylvester Stallone. We don't need that much as a carry gun. Say a team of four people raid the Kroger's down the road. You have a SIG-Sauer P232 in .380. You have seven in the mag, one in the chamber. Problemo solved. You have room for being inacurate in some shots. 50% of your ammo is left if you don't miss. Not to mention a backup mag. This is why we don't need to carry big guns. You can protect yourself with a 5 round Smith.
- Make sure you go out to the range and practice. Wait out the suggested break in period before trusting your life with this gun.
Best CCW Handguns
Here is my 5 and why.
5)Walther PPS The police pistol slim. Very compact, reliable, and available in 9mm or .40 S&W. If you live in America, you can find Walther via Smith and Wesson's website.
4)Kahr K9 A lightweight, reliable, all-american 9mm. Kahr makes other models in different calibers. Check out the website for more details.
3)Ruger LCR The LCR comes in .22 .38, and .357. This lends to a revolver that can fit most shooters needs. Ruger offers this with optional laser grips.
2)Ruger LC9 The LC9 has a loaded chamber indicator, "melted" edges, and a manual safety. There is also a magazine disconnect, making this perfect for beginners. Ruger also offers this withan optional laser. More details at Ruger's website.
1)Glock 36 Glock's only slimline handgun chambered in the powerful .45 is not for all, but those that can handle the .45 will apreciate what Glock did to make the gun an easyily concealed and fired weapon. More details at Glock's website.

Gun Pictures
Blank Conversion
Often enough, my friends ask "Why can't you fire live bullets in a blank gun, and blanks in a live gun?"
Well, that's because, live guns use the recoil from the bullet leaving the gun to send the slide back. Blanks don't create this backward movement, so you must convert the guns to cycle with blanks.
You don't need to convert revolvers, bolt action rifles, and pump/lever action shotguns, because the gun is fed by the mechanism.
Fan Pages
I wanted to make a page for a youtube movie that I like, but youtube movies are not allowed on IMFDB, so I made an unofficial page.
Left 4 Dead- The Movie (Part 1 and 2)
Despite the name, This follows a separate story than from the video games. A group of survivors attempts to rescue another survivor, and the rescue attempt goes wrong. The only two survivors desperately try to reach a safe haven in the zombie-ridden world.
AK-47
Josh uses an AK-47 in the opening battle. Presumably it is taken when Tank, Jake, and the other unnamed survivor try to overthrow Josh and JJ. One of the carjackers uses an AK. An unamed survivor also uses one.
FN Minimi
A FN Minimi is used by Tank in the opening sequence.
Beretta 92FS
JJ uses a Beretta 92FS to threaten one of the carjackers in the beginning of part 2. It is captured by another carjacker almost immediately. A different female survivor (who is currently unnamed) uses one in the climax of part 2.
Smith and Wesson Model 629
JJ uses a Smith & Wesson 629 when he is rescued. It is presumably lost during the 2 weeks between part 1 and 2.
Unknown Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle

One of the soldiers uses a SCAR-L during the climax of part 2.
Galil
A Galil is used by the soldier with glasses during the climax of part 2.

Smith & Wesson 5906
The scout survivor carries a Smith & Wesson 5906.
NEW SIG!!!!!!
SIG-Sauer has created a new competitor in the subcompact range. I'm a big SIG fan and I think that this model has some real potential as a compact SIG-Sauer P229. The newer model P229 mags can be used with the brand new...
SIG-SAUER P224
PICTURE COMING SOON
Guns Guns Guns
Gun reviews are awesome. They make sure you don't go "Aw crap, this $1,000 gun sucks."
One of my favorites...
.The SIG-Sauer P232 is usually thrown in with the "girl gun" group with guns such as the Stainless Walther PPK, SIG-Sauer P230 (the P232's predessessor), and more. I consider the P232 a gun perfect for both guys and girls that have good experiance with guns. 'the gun is snag free, light weight, and plenty of firepower for a small shootout. To see how the "girl guns" are used by men, check out Burn Notice (season 1), Departed, The, Last Boy Scout, The, and Collateral.
Movie Review for Collateral
Collateral has to be the most underrated Tom Cruise movie ever. A friend suggested it to me. I rented it (thank you Netflix) and had very low expectations. Don't get me wrong, Tom Cruise is a good actor and I enjoy the Mission Impossible series, but that is what I saw him as. A John Woo style James Bond. Collateral stunned me with Tom Cruise starring as Vincent, a hitman for hire. Seeing Tom go from all American action hero to cold blooded gun for hire was a big switch up for me. But Cruise pulled it off. He was a likeable charecter because of what his acting past was, and in the movie Max (Jamie Foxx) has several small talk conversations with him like it was any other night. The rich back story Vincent's charecter had was amazing. Vincent says his dad died. Max asks how. Vincent says he killed him then says he is joking. His dad died from a liver failure. Early in the movie, Vincent says he didn't kill a man, "the bullets and the fall did". Say Vincent stabbed his dad in the liver. Now you see the backstory coming together. The Cyotes in Koreatown scene also showed some of Vincent's past. He looks like he is having a flashback when he sees the cyotes. Did something happen hen he was young with cyotes? Is that what screwed up his head? Also notice how Vincent is dressed in gray and the resemblence between him and the cyotes. These little details blew my mind and improved the movie overall. Just in case you are wondering, I am not an English teacher who is trying to get you to find all of the "foreshadowing" and stuff. The best part of the movie is (SPOILER) after the Club Fever shootout to the end of the movie when the credits finally say "Collateral". IMDB users give it a 7.7 out of 10. I give it a 500 out of 10.
Thank you Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, and Micheal Mann for creating the best movie ever.--Yo dawg 111 09:56, 26 February 2012 (CST)
